Whoever thought those two hit-persons would make good telly needs a good hard kick in the nads
I thought they were the best part of it. The rest of it was very humdrum and about 2 episodes too long.
At least now I know what was filming on the beach last summer by me.

Been enjoying Clarkson's Farm recently. His encounters with Gerald the dry stone waller are priceless.
Yes. Didn't expect to like it but a really good series. Kaleb is a star too.

I think I'm giving up on Euphoria. It's lovely to look at, and well made and well acted but, for me, its wandering off into side/back stories means the show looses direction. I'm finding it hard to stay interested in truth! Also, I have a sense that it's a little too enamoured with itself and gets a bit too clever - like watching someone undoubtedly talented showing off.

This week i have been mostly watching Invasion (an Apple original)...

a sci-fi from the perspective of people who don't know WTF is going on.

We've got a family on the verge of divorce in NY, a group of petulant school kids in London, an American soldier in Afghanistan and members of the Japanese Space Agency... and some weird sh!t of an extra terrestrial nature.

Some (many?) of the reviews slated it for being too vague, calling it Evasion due to not much being revealed to viewer.... but so far (8 episodes in out of 10) I'm enjoying the prolonged WTF is going on plot. More often than not, these things tend to nose dive once we know what's going on, as i expect this to do... but hopefully that's not until series three

Nahh, I think the guy is Reacher, hard to imagine someone better.
What I meant some scenes which worked great in book feel a little bit laboured here.
I have finished it now, strong 4/5 still stands and I hope we will get further seasons

Reacher - sehr gut, Maybe too faithful to the books? In any case, after 3 episodes, 4/5
I'm tempted by Reacher for that very reason! I think I've read maybe 2 (certainly 1!) and would not claim them to be anything special but they are readable, even if only in a airport departure lounge kind of a way. I am intrigued to see how a television programme would handle that.
