Finished The Night Manager yesterday.

Cracking series, though it could probably have been cut down to 8 episodes. That said I'm a harsh critic and would be a ruthless editor.
Eight episodes? It was six! Your editing wouldn't have been ruthless, more chilled out

Anyone seen Bojack Horseman? It's a very good, if very weird cartoon for adults, made by Netflix and starring Will Arnett and Aaron Paul. I know @nickyboy is a fan

Veeeery funny cartoon but, I think, not to everyone's taste.

At the other end of the spectrum, just working through the Deutschland 83 box set (it was on TV recently so sort of counts) and it's jolly good stuff. So good, in fact, that my 16 year old son put down his phone to concentrate on the subtitles
you clearly have as you thought it was good.
I think I've added some episodes in because it didn't grab me at first.

The penultimate episode is better than the finale too.

In my defence I'm running on fumes after a fairly sleepless night with a month old child.

If I get the time I'm going to read the book to see what the differences are.

Season 5 of The Walking Dead has popped up on prime video, so in streaming terms, I'm splitting my viewing between that and Continuum (the latter on Netflix).

We finished off the second series of The Affair last night.

Overall I enjoyed it. The story is pretty ridiculous and the ending sets it up for an unnecessary third series which annoyed me a bit. Anyway, it's really well filmed and I like the different perspectives on the story. The transformation of the main guy from a vaguely pitiable character into an absolute dick is pretty impressive.

@Ffoeg - Is Banshee out on TV yet (I think it was on Fox?) or is it a hooky-internet affair. I love that show; it had me hooked from the beginning - I think it was Hood ripping that guy's hand in half that really sold me. Unparalleled levels of violence for a TV show!

Lucky Man has finally ended... thank f*ck. Not bad but not great... same with The Night Manager.

Series three of Line of Duty is going down well.

Started watching Murder (BBC2) last night.. interesting format but not sure if i enjoyed it or just endured it.

I'm not sure if it's on UK TV yet.. I just 'happen' by episodes.

The whole shebang is just superb IMO - every character is interesting enough to carry a spin off series
