Smart turbo trainer, picked up this morning for £40, all seems to be working and think I've got a bargain considering what they go for new and on Ebay and came with the mat and a tyre. First time I've owned one, thinking it'll help me train a bit before and after work now I'm not commuting.

Perhaps now I will finally get rid of the old 520, Edge Explore and the 130 as I've been planning to do for a while.

Just bought (another) Tacx Neo 2T. I was an early adopter of the 2T as it didn’t need external power so suited my non-mains connected pain cave. The first stopped talking and was replaced under warranty. The replacement‘s internal cooling fan has now failed and despite my best efforts, it isn’t repairable and it’s also out of warranty.

I have a set of rollers that have now outlasted 5 turbo trainers (2 dumb, 3 smart) but there are times when you need a bit of variation. Obv can’t ride outside in winter as the best bike is carbon and would dissolve.
