like the look of the pedals

Nukeproof Sam hill in oil slick colour
I really couldn’t decide on pedals
I knew I wanted something big and flat these where half price at wiggle so I thought I would take a chance look good

DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Bought whilst on holiday:
  • Two vintage 27.2mm seatposts, one NOS. I'll use one for the Woodrup, whichever looks best, and keep the other for a future project.
  • A new cyclocross tubular tyre. I can't seem to sell the tubular cyclocross wheelset I have and it just needs a rear tyre, so that's coming cheaply.
  • A new KMC DLC black/blue chain. Probably to be used for next season on son no. 2's Ridley Noah Fast.
  • A black/green saddle from @cyberknight on here, to go onto the Raleigh Pioneer.
  • A mech hanger for the Viner Mitus, so I've a spare in the new saddle bag.
  • A couple of 11 speed chain links to go in the bag as spares.

This.

I lost the last one at work: it was in my pocket when I left the workshop but by the time I reached the till it had gone, no amount of searching helped: it had vanished.

I've tried to work without for a month but I would reach for it every few minutes so it was getting frustrating, so I've replaced it, on the basis that means the old one wil automatically turn up within 24 hours.

A new Shimano 105 Rear derailleur from Evans Cycles in Cardiff, having broken mine yesterday after falling off while turning round to take a photo. Got too close to the edge of the road, and wheels just slipped down the curve of the tarmac and about 0.5mph.

Originally, didn't think I'd done any damage, as it was still changing OK. Then I changed to the largest sprocket, and the cage caught in the spokes, and snapped the body before I could change back.

Unfortunately, I still have problems after fitting the new one - I'd been having a minor issue with the lever for a couple of months, where occasionally trying to change up (to a smaller sprocket), the lever just flapped without doing anything. But it always worked after flicking it a couple of times, and otherwise was changing fine, so I just ignored it. But I also replaced the cable just now, and cannot get the new one to work right. It doesn't seem to be holding it correctly in the lever. So down to Simon's Cycles with it tomorrow, see if he can do anything - but I suspect a new RH lever will be needed

@Alex321 - could you have bent the rear derailleur hanger?
