What film did you watch last night?

much better than the david lynch effort as i found chamalet a more believable character , spreading over 2 films certainly gave it chance to work more of the story in although you can expect some changes like the fact that paul`s sister is still unborn at the end and paul kills the baron himself .Nit picking for sure

I'm not sure it is nit picking, that and Chani leaving Paul will make the story in the third movie deviate significantly from the cannon.

starring Tom Hanks. A rather beautiful comedy.

Ventoux,
2015. A movie about 4 friends who ride up the mountain like they did in their younger years. It's not just about the ride, but the whole story of their friendship and goings -on in their lives contrasting from when they were young to the current time. A Dutch movie with subtitles.

How was it? I've read the book and watched the original Swedish movie. Have they fully sanitised it? I don't understand why they had to change the name of the main character, what's wrong with Ove?
