Leave The World Behind on Netflix
Starring Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke. A thriller about a couple of families thrown together during an apparently coming apocalypse, trying to find out what's happening around them.
Not brilliant but a very good watch never the less.

Dogtrousers

Kilometre nibbler
Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny
[...]
Indy Wins.

It's a good job that I've seen it, otherwise I'd be very cross with you about that spoiler.

Yes I thought it was utter tosh, but not boring. It passed the time. (I know, it would have passed anyway)

We also watched this the other night. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was apprently slated (by whom I don't know...maybe a Netflix FB group) but I think it did a very good job of describing what would happen if........and how it would be likely to play out. The ending was the part most people found disappointing but I think any other ending would have made it corny. Such is the Hollywood way these days, a lot of people want a neatly wrapped package in film and don't want to be left wondering

The Program

Part fiction/part documentary about David Walsh's investigation of Lance Armstrong, nicely done and worth a watch if you've got Netflix.

Huger Games: Songbirds and Snakes - 5/10

The consensus was "Yep, alright, but could have been better". Personally I thought it lacked the rebellious attitude from the main trilogy and didn't quite set it up as it would have liked to.

A lot of it makes little sense either. But that's by the by. Beautiful visually.

I saw the trailer and that reminded me that I read the book but for the life of me can't remember the ending.

I saw it around the same time I saw the latest Mission Impossible film. Both had overlong car chases and the compulsory chase on the train roof. Could have been better.

Started watching Saving Private Ryan but way too much blood and guts for us so we turned over and watched Working girl with all the shoulder pads and hair do's from that era .

Actually enjoyed it more than I expected to.

I started binge watching a Netflix series called Who is Erin Carter last night. Quite enjoying it. Just another couple of episodes to go. I’ll watch Vigil this evening too.

National Treasure 2.

Really enjoyable. Have seen it loads of times. The stupid little.merd idiot is becoming increasingly annoying but is just fine if it's the first time you watch the movie.

Wonka - 9/10

Lots of fun, clever and strikes a great balance between being dark and light. Subtle enough to not overdo why he looks himself away too which I appreciated. I have no idea what the future plans are, but I could see it being quite a neat trilogy.
