Talking of Vampire movies the only one that springs to mind in recent years is the Swedish Let the Right One In.Not the sh1te American version !
Loved it when it came out.

Thats cos Swedish films are just better. I don't even need to see it!

Very rarely do I watch remakes of films I like.The same way I don't go and watch cover bands very often
In fact as previously discussed I watched Papillon remake with my daughter... Lesson learned !!

I know what you mean, and generally I am the same.

I saw it after I'd seen the director's take on Planet of the Apes and figured it would be worth a shot.

I did like the Mark Gattis BBC drama Dracula....thought the Danish actor who played Dracula was good,sorry can't remember his name.
Not a film though so it passed my strict censorship 😁
