Finally got round to watching The Battle of Algiers, one I’d been wanting to see for years. It didn’t disappoint in the slightest, although my enjoyment increased dramatically about two minutes in, after I got the English subtitles working

I watched the fourth Bourne film tonight, two hours of my life that I'll never get back.

'Milking it', would seem to be an appropriate description, although the bike chase at the end was quite entertaining.

4/10.

The new 'Witches' film with Anne Hathaway - It was light entertainment.

Currently doing the whole Marvel film series in chronological order on Disney Plus - going to have to obtain Spiderman by other means as it's 'Sony' as was the Hulk but I've seen that one lots. Black Widow is in the latter half, but it's not released yet.

We watched 'Richard Jewell'. What a great film this is. It's one of Clint Eastwood's (he's not in it btw) and is the (true) story of the little man being unfairly picked on to be destroyed by the state. But like Erin Brokevich, he's got more oil in his can than that and with the help of his mother (played by Kathy Bates) and lawyer (played by Sam Rockwell), he hits back and the tables turn in his favour. I'm not giving any spoilers away there, it's a well-known story in America.

The Invisible Man on Sky Movies. Pretty good. More a pychological thriller based around domestic violence than an effects laden action movie like you'd get from a big studio.
