The Disney thing is a shame. I think Star Wars didn't need the extra movies. Just too repetitive. I've not seen the latest but am not holding much hope.

It would be nice to see other characters and other stories if they are going to continue the same franchises / universes. I liked Rogue One for this very reason, it was a cracking film. The new Skywalker films are not so good, especially this last one. As for Marvel, there are loads of characters they have not shown on screen yet.

Exit Wounds.

Steven Seagals best film by a mile. Puts Under Siege in the shade. Very violent thriller, but with a well paced, decent plot. Some good supporting acting from Tom Arnold and Anthony Anderson make this surprisingly watchable.

7/10.

Top 5, maybe, but best? No chance!

My wife is a bit under the weather so were having a lazy kinda day. Watching The Siege of Firebase Gloria, 1989......what a crock of
Suffered it long enough, I'm getting back on the turbo.

We watched an hour-long YouTube of a cycling acquaintance’s (& club) trip to the Alps in 2008 (and TdF Alpe d’Huez). Better than any World of Cine offering imo. Do you remember (no looking up) who won that year.

An Inconvenient Sequel.

And the day before that: The Post

Oh and before that: Three Billboards (good movie but I couldn't stay to watch second half so need to get back to it...)
The Da Vinci Code. Everyone looked really embarrassed even saying their lines. At least they didn't have to watch it though. Gave up about half way through. Nulle points.
Its as bad as the book, except Tom Hanks wears a wig.

Cheered my myself up after Logan last night with Guardians of the galaxy Vol 2.
Colourful and fun it rattles along without stopping for breath.
Really entertaining: 10/10.

We watched Chips.
Anyone remember the 70's TV Show??? I used to love it.
The film was nothing like it. ^_^ But it was hilarious, if you have a childish sense of humour and find boobs and willies amusing.
8/10
