I'm assuming you've watched The devil's backbone, Pan's labyrinth, Cronos, El Orfanato?
Yes, yes, yes and no. Haven't heard of the last one.
Got amores perros and matador left to watch in Spanish then I am out of them and finances too tight to buy any more for a few months and Netflix does not seen to have many Spanish films that I can find sadly!

Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead. I wasn't impressed. The film plodded along. The love interest didn't really go anywhere (Gabrielle Anwar). Christopher Walken sticking to his usual psycho roles , always good value but the tension didn't build.
I watched it as it has been compared to Reservoir Dogs.
6/10

Yep, I noticed that. Not to mention they changed to English. The whole reason for watching them was to help my Spanish!

Might watch amores perros next.

The Mariachi trilogy is one of my all time favourites, and there's a reason for the switch to English.

El Mariachi is "the truth" - what actually happened.

Desperado is "the legend" - the same story retold by someone who had heard the original tale and embellished it.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico is "the myth" - a version of the story which has been told so many times it's pretty much unrecognisable.

Did you enjoy Amores Perros? I found it hard going, but it's definitely worth a watch.

Can I just say, that's one of the more disturbing avatar pictures I've seen over the years. A pink teddy bear with mange. WT.....?

You can thank Victor Ivanov for that. He made it out of chicken. A human version is also available...

I watched The Grand Budapest Hotel

Very enjoyable. I really like Wes Anderson films, even though every instinct I have says they shouldn't work.
