A proper spooky film with plenty of tension and suspense about an evil spirit that takes over a house in 1974 Yorkshire.

El Mariachi was good, but unfortunately its 2 sequels went all "Hollywood" on us.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Not a film, but I have watched the first 2 episodes of Ripper street on amazon fire tv. Bloody fantastic 3rd series. I'd advise anyone to watch it 9/10 so far

Whilst I watched the footballing parts as baffled as a chimp given a nutcracker, this is a bloody good film. The tribalism and nastiness might seem less grim to someone who knows more about footballing, but this is one of those sport films you don't need to like sport to enjoy. Excellent.

They've changed it a lot from the book, which was about politics and industrial strife in the 70s....

....sorry, I'll get me coat. Excellent book all the sams

Yep, I noticed that. Not to mention they changed to English. The whole reason for watching them was to help my Spanish!

Might watch amores perros next.

You need some Almodova films:becool:

We watched the grand Budapest hotel;very silly with a fine Ralph Fiennes Central performance, helped by some good support from the likes of Ed Norton and Willemstad Defoe amongst others.
