Reach For The Sky.

Pretty dated but great fun, Anton Diffring early in his career of playing nazis, as IMDB has it:

He was still going at it in the 1970s and 1980s, as he continued a nearly 40-year-long acting career that was terminated only by his death.

Yeah, death can be a major setback to your career.

Interstellar. Complex and, in parts, pedestrian, but a proper science fiction film which makes you think about the ideas in it.

Not seen it, but if you like slow, thoughtful sci-fi, do give the Solaris remake a go. Despite Clooney's matinee idol image, he is a good actor when called upon, and superb in this. At the risk of heresy, the original film is perhaps a bit too slow, and the sheer beauty of the new one is fabulous. Won't suit every: Star Wars shoot-em-up it ain't !

Heresy aside, that's a good shout.

Moon is also very good.

Finally got round to watching American Sniper. Only two things to say: Sienna Miller is very good as Mrs. Sniper, and why the hell did they use plastic babies??

Oh, and it was ok as a whole; neither gung ho nor hand-wringing.
