Dalton was good, he was cold and ruthless, much more Bondian.
Yep. I think it's come up before, but his Bonds are well worth revisiting - ahead of their time, in light of the Craig era Bond.

Well, I quite like Brosnan's Bond. Die Another Day is the only "bad" one of his. But maybe I'm being too kind.

I liked Dalton as Bond, Licenced To Kill was better than any Brosnan film.

I haven't seen that one. I've seen Licence to Kill though, is it similar to that one?

Know who was tipped? Ollie Reed. Shut up laughing and think about it, good actor, physical presence, brooding air of menace (he was a fantastic Bill Sykes) and looked like he could beat up three henchmen without spilling his pint. The Broccollis were put off by his tabloid antics. Of course Fleming thought Bond looked like:

Yeah, but the scene would unfold like this:

Bond: "I'll have a vodka martini, shaken, not stirred.
And a double whisky
And 3 pints
And a large brandy
And ...
And ...
...
I love you, you're my best mate. Want to know all the MI6 passwords?"

2 weird ones for me today...
Land and Freedom
Cronos

Both OK, think I may have preferred the former to the later but I'm not sure. Will have to think on it., but that young girl was just weird. Both come under the category of ' glad I watched them, but not entirely sure if I enjoyed them in the usual sense of enjoying something' rather like watching Alive or 127 hours or the one set in the outer Hebrides by that director of ahhh can't remember the name of it now (earth explodes at the end)... Will come back and edit when I can
