What film did you watch last night?

Fury , Shia LaBeouf said he never washed while filming , he never really acted either , still a good film but Shia LaBeouf could of been replaced by a chair and no one would notice , Brad Pitt was Ok and the young guy Logan Lerman stole the show with his great performance .

8/10 for the film and 10/10 for the last 30 minutes .

There are entertaining bits of dialogue and some genuinely brilliant pieces of cinematography. There aren't enough of them to elevate this beyond the standard weirdly nostalgic take on football violence.

Resident evil - apocalypse. Another classic. Again I've seen this film before, but it's still good.

They're tripe, but if one's in the right mood, I guess...? I do think that a degree of diminishing returns applies to them though.

It's a bit of a "meh" film - you see the twist coming a mile off, but it's enjoyable enough.

Anyroad, I watched "A Single Man", a beautiful, melancholic sort of a film - Colin Firth is very good in it indeed.

Watched The Grand Budapest Hotel last night, really enjoyed it - but I do like Wes Anderson's style and attention to detail. Thought it was much better than The Darjeeling Limited.

Taken 3 at the cinema today...
If you like this genre, the first was excellent. Second was good ..and TBH I often think once you go beyond that, films often lose their way, but not in this case.
Nothing much has changed, the story is local this time, the usual criminals, plus danger from within...excellent, loved it.
