I'm just back from watching Into The Woods with younger Marmionette and one of her friends - they both seemed to really enjoy it, whereas I said "yes it was fine" when my wife asked my view on it. Once younger Marmionette is out of the room I'll tell her the truth; whilst the overall movie was ok it does not warrant any greater praise than that, and James Corden makes turd look talented. I have little previous experience of James Corden, but from this little experience I have formed the opinion that he's fairly one-dimensional and a bit of a git, and there is certainly nothing in his "performance" in this movie to suggest I am likely to change that opinion anytime ever.

The female leads were all very good and their talent rescued the movie; the children seemed quite talented as well in a "my, didn't I learn a lot in a short period of time at stage school" kind of way. I had hoped that Frances de la Tour would shout "Ooh Mr Rigsby" at some point but that didn't happen.

Million Dollar Arm.
A down on his luck baseball agent goes to India to sign up a couple of chaps who've never touched baseball in their lives. Good movie based on a true story.

Apocalypse Now on one of the ITV channels, plenty beer and volume for Ride of the Valkyries

Ive watched all those, really enjoyed them too, thankfully had a few quiet shifts at work to sneak in a few episodes.
Still being bedbound and will be for sometime to come, that is not going to be a problem. My only decision is whether to close my eyes and try for a little bit of sleep, something I failed on last night, do some online shopping or start watching another episode. Sleep may win, I do sometimes manage to get a little between 8 and 10.
