A gory psychological thriller/body horror that squanders most of the interesting themes it raises (revenge, body image, depersonalisation). Not terrible, but could have been so much more than it is.

There is 3 underbelly films as well I think , Ive seen all the series except series 4 and including the last series which was not called underbelly because of some dispute , the last one they called Fat Tony and the plot overlaps with the first series.

There all based on true stories and I was surprised how much the characters look like the real villains of which not many are still alive .

Watched The Imitation Game this morning.

8/10.

Beautifully shot, and an excellent character study. I still can't quite believe that we treated people so badly as little as 50 years ago: what happened to Turing is absolutely barbaric.

Mrs Caldicot's Cabbage War.

Pauline Collins is dumped in an old folks home, but doesn't go quietly.

A comedy, but because of the subject matter it's probably more of a comedy drama, think Calendar Girls crossed with that old sitcom, Waiting For God.

The perfect Sunday afternoon film, and anyone who says they didn't have some dust in their eye at some point is a liar.
