A Hammer classic,The Curse of the Werewolf.Been quite a while since i last saw this, and it is still a top movie.

One of their best. Launched Olly Reed too, which can only be considered a good thing.

I tried to watch The Inbetweeners second film last night. I figured that viewing half cut and a little stoned would help it along. I was wrong.

Unfunny gubbins. 3/10.

Max payne. I really enjoyed it. A bit gory but good. 8/10

Max Payne was a strange one for me. First time I watched it I hated it because it's nothing like the game. My second viewing was less prejudiced and I quite enjoyed it as a stand alone piece. Was never entirely convinced by Mark Wahlberg though.

Give Hitman a watch, it's a really good interpretation and a decent action flick to boot. Timothy Olyphant with no hair is also a hoot.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

I know what you mean about mark wahlberg. I wasn't convinced by him, but he did an all right job.

I think that part of the problem with Wahlberg, for me anyway, is that he refused to play the game so never really understood the character. That's probably why I preferred the film second time around as I was able to separate it from the game in my mind.

I never played or saw the game, so i wasn't influenced in any way.

Last night i watched:

Perfect Friday (1970): An intriguing heist movie staring Stanley Baker, Ursula Andress and David Warner. Surprisingly watchable with its off beat editing, flash backs and forwards, and as I began to wonder just who's conning who... it had me glued. 7/10

Dougal & the Blue Cat (1970): The original magic roundabout movie... great fun even for grown-ups. 6/10

Simon Simon (1970): A silly short about a bloke in a cherry picker... virtually silent (think Rhubarb Rhubarb & The Plank) and starring just about everyone.

The Bullet Machine, AKA Clegg (1970): Started well but maybe i struggled to pay attention due to 4th film syndrome, or maybe it was just pants. The music was good though.

Predator and predator 2. Worth a cuple of hours. I enjoy them. But I didn't like the last predator film very much.

Predator and Predator 2 are both excellent. I'm also a fan of Alien Vs Predator (although it is one of those cheapo video game movies), but didn't take to AVP Requiem

I know what you mean. Ive watched the first 3 god knows how many times, but the last one mehh.. not fussed.
