Max Payne was a strange one for me. First time I watched it I hated it because it's nothing like the game. My second viewing was less prejudiced and I quite enjoyed it as a stand alone piece. Was never entirely convinced by Mark Wahlberg though.
Give Hitman a watch, it's a really good interpretation and a decent action flick to boot. Timothy Olyphant with no hair is also a hoot.
I know what you mean about mark wahlberg. I wasn't convinced by him, but he did an all right job.
I think that part of the problem with Wahlberg, for me anyway, is that he refused to play the game so never really understood the character. That's probably why I preferred the film second time around as I was able to separate it from the game in my mind.
Edge of Tomorrow - Tom Cruise ... I really enjoyed it, very good movie....
Predator and Predator 2 are both excellent. I'm also a fan of Alien Vs Predator (although it is one of those cheapo video game movies), but didn't take to AVP RequiemPredator and predator 2. Worth a cuple of hours. I enjoy them. But I didn't like the last predator film very much.
