Yes, open the ride from the map. Click on one of the lines and the activity name will pop up, click on that and Veloviewer will open the ride, as it does it recalculates the GPS points more accurately. Be careful though as you can lose squares as well as gain them.

Thanks. I've just done it for a 300km Adax I did in 2013 which has corrected the 2 tiles I was looking at - but has also taken one tile off me - reducing my Squares from 40 to 39. Oh well, I'd rather have it correct. Will have to go get that one tile soon

He did warn you 😁, I did once click on a ride by mistake which robbed me of a square which looking at the the map I hadn't quite entered so I went and had to ride out to grab it thankfully it wasn't far from home . I believe I was joined by @Supersuperleeds who also had the square but technically had gone into it just some gos glitch I guess
It's good practice to open the ride after you've uploaded it to make sure everything is correct

Good idea. I don't normally open them in Veloviewer.

Being somewhat obsessive about this I have filtered my rides on 'Tiles Calculated'=No, ordered by distance and clicked on every ride over 20k to make sure that I haven't gained or missed any tiles. I arbitrarily picked 20k as the cutoff as I used to record lots of short local commutes etc. I currently have three rides that need clicking but they are all within my square so won't affect anything.

I didn't know you could see which rides had been calculated. I'm not looking at it.

The value of investments can go DOWN as well as UP  😭

Grabbed a few more tiles on a muddy gravel bike ride, 5 if I'm counting right. I decided against confronting an angry ram and thought I'd have to go round the long way to get the last tile. Thought was as far as it got as I p'tured on the way back from the ram and it wouldn't seal with a DynaPlug/ CO2/ Pump. I could have opted for a tube but with only a railway grade climb (near flat) then a lot of downhill I opted for running flat for what turned out to be 17miles home. Typically, when I cleaned up the bike and pumped it up with a track pump, with a few spins, the p'ture and a new one sealed almost instantly. At least when I ran veloviewer I found out I didn't need the squares on the other side of the ram after all.
