I doubt it but what square is it? I probably don't but there's an off chance I have it if it's towards Rutland or Peterborough and I certainly haven't been on the A1 and a 'Private No Entry' is enough to stop me going up a farm road 😵‍💫

It's a bit further North just outside Long Bennington near the village of Foston , I was going to have a walk around some fishing lakes boardering the A1 but the lakes in the square are for holiday residents only

I used to work in there and parked in LB, it was before I really bothered about tiles and off road; so if I have it it'll be by road.

The driveway from the north Bells plantation is the locked gate access , there may be a chance from the east at the Spinney can't remember anything about this

Yip I thought it was that one. I think youve tried the track south of the A1 from fly over from the aerial it looks like it continue straight rather going right into the farm. Alternatively on the Foston Road whilst its not clear from the overhead, there looks to be a field access which might let you in. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ybVRy2m71PkmvKJeA

I got it by going down the track at Bell's Plantation. I can't remember if there was a locked gate or not, not that they normally stop me.

i did the square in 2018, so the access is likely to be a bit different now.

I think its limited to not include land immediately surrounding a house or industrial lands (quarries etc) but England needs something like this.

I grabbed the Foston tile from its western edge back in April 2019 - it was a minor diversion from the audax I was doing.

I was on the 'summer bike' and am pretty sure that this was the track south from Thackson's Well Farm.

I don't recall any gates just a farm track alongside Ease Drain. It would be a totally different proposition if there had been much rain!

Thanks @JonBuoy .I will investigate the west side , I haven't ridden down the lane from the North that far yet will wait for drier weather

Following a 50 miler yesterday and a 64 miler today www.strava.com/activities/13493738575 I have now completed a column on my Eastern side of max square.

I've mapped out a 74 miler which will complete a full row on my Northern side - which will move me to 43 Max Square. Not sure when I'll get around to doing it though.

I presuming your Northern edge is just below Leicester any route advice you want ask away me or @Supersuperleeds will be able to help , off the top of my head can't remember any particularly difficult squares

I've just amended it to 78 miles - which fills a gap at fairly minimal extra work.
