Thanks. Anything I need to be aware of in the route below?

I've just amended it to 78 miles - which fills a gap at fairly minimal extra work.

Cheers, well spotted. I've now made it 78.2 miles and it does grab 2 extra tiles

The track in the rectangle is a better route, it is a dead end (for cars) bridleway, but all tarmac, there is a minor bit that is footpath wide only but is much better than going down Hospital Lane.

The squares down the right hand side is the old A50 and can be busy but I've ridden it a few times, it is slightly down hill if you do it the opposite way.

Haven't posted much on here recently, have mainly been keeping rides local, so no new tiles (although some were new to my current bike).

However on a trip to London yesterday I did cross off 10 new tiles which filled in a small gap between my London cluster and the tiles I gained from doing RideLondon last year, which ended up adding 12 to my cluster overall.

Looks like you weren't far away from Swains Lane - one of the hundred climbs. (I did that one in August on a Sunday evening.)

Did that on a previous London trip - in fact I think it was the one where I finally joined up my London cluster to my main Home Counties one.

That was a properly decent ride. I cheated and started near Waltham Abbey (after dropping my wife at Stansted) to snag the two London "100 climbs" hills. It was a lovely ride along the Lea Valley tow-path for most of the way.

I picked up another tile today. I should have picked up two as I knew I only had to go a couple of 100m or less east but it was a social ride.

Did a 67 miler yeserday which gave me 9 new tiles and by completing my southernmost row, took me to 43 x 43 Square. Very rural route which took me through the Cotswolds.

Just to share, Statshunters has a very good Chrome extension which overlays visited tiles onto route planning websites including cycle.travel. One feature that I particularly like is that the overlay can be tweaked to different parameters, e.g. this years rides only, if bagging annual tiles is of interest (which I play as a second tier game to all time tiles).

Infrequent poster - but no connection with Statshunters!
