Ah, probably makes sense as you's paid to ride this year. Was it a generic code or specific to you?

I’ve just signed up. Very well spotted Bridgy.

Andy that’s annoying. Ring them on Monday if you can’t re register I guess. I think you’ll get in no problems but it would be much better if you can get the discount too.

Thanks again for taking a day off to ride with me. Oh, I'll be back. Sometime next year for the DD. Up until last Monday it was the best tour I've ever had. Meeting everyone was just icing on the cake. I'm disappointed I didn't get to meet Jim Brown and the dudes doing the DD. But hopefully next year.

I'm already bike shopping. There is some lucky Scotsman just getting to really appreciate my bike.
The police asked about every component and it hurt to answer every question. They asked what derailleur \ what handlebars\ what saddle etc. I guess they must strip the parts and sell them. Orbea has a stolen report they send out for dealers to look for the serial no. The thief must have some knowledge to know what component s are worth.

I really want the exact same bike with the same Crank Brothers candy 7 pedals and Liberator y saddle and 11\34 cassette notifications

Anyway, home and back to work Monday. On The same day they stole my bike I found out a tech I hired just 3 months ago had to quit for health reasons.

Hi Randy, good to hear you’re home safely... aside from the bike being nicked, I was very much looking forward to catching up with you for a few days... All that said Randy, whilst I had the weekend planned off and HID in Yorkshire, all in anticipation, the weather has been awful. Trees down, power lines down, the lot....

Just sitting here watching the rain lash against the windows, thinking about getting on to the Bkool for a laugh...... tomorrow’s not looking too bad..

I put a 11-32 cassette and 50-34 rings on my bike a couple of days ago. First ride the shifting was a little clunky but I dialled it in last night and today it was nice quick shifts and no chatter at all. Very pleased with the cassette. I’d heard Sram cassette can be noisy but it’s working nicely so far. And spinning comfortably going up hill is a nice feeling. I just need to work on moderating the power a little because I seem to be pushing more power than I think I’d really want to over a long climbs.

I think it’s going to be very special hitting the top of the first big summit. Now it’s time to just hope for smooth roads and good weather!
