Thanks Randy, I will have a look at that. It looks like it will be useful for creating new routes, but I was also wondering about existing routes currently saved on Plotaroute and how best to get these onto the Elemnt?
I think you can just import them into Komoot and then sync with ELEMNT

And the full 130 mile Double Devil route shows at 8825 feet elevation in Kommoot vs 11171 feet in Plotaroute. It's a different route to previously so can't compare to Strava ride.

Oh well - it's "lots" of elevation either way - just goes to show you have to take the elevation figure with a large pinch of salt on these route planners though - I wonder which is more correct?!

Big differences in the Komoot and ELEMNT rides

I've just compared my actual Strava ride for the DD route I did two years ago in Strava, plotaroute and Komoot. Elevation shows as:

Strava - 11299 feet
Plotaroute - 11427 feet
Komoot - 9175 feet

I've just got myself a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. Only done 1 ride with it but very happy so far - I know a few other have them, and I'm wondering what you find the easiest way of uploading new routes onto it is? More specifically, I'd like to upload the DD routes to it which can be downloaded as a TCX file from Poltaroute. I also have a number of saved routes on Plotaroute which were on my Garmin which I'd like to put on the Elemnt. Do I need to move these routes from Plotaroute to RidewithGPS first? Thanks for any advice....
Snap - just bought myself the same off Wiggle :okay: It's due tomorrow so will watch this thread to too

Nice! I had to make a further investment in an out-front mount that fits to my Canyon integrated handlebar/stem - I don't want to talk about the outrageous cost of this piece of plastic, but the result is a very neat and pleasingly aero looking setup. All worked perfectly and without issue straight from the box for my first ride, but now just need to get my head round things like uploading the routes and live Strava segments etc.

I have cross handle bar brake levers as I'm a wuss descending so don't actually know where the gps will fit yet! I'm sure it will go somewhere
