I tend to do that to make me think as I am crap at time management. My Dad finds this totally unacceptable and gets all annoyed as he thinks it's all about him when he visits (he's genuinely told me this - How dare you not change your clock for ME!). He actually bellowed at me and called me everything under the sun in front of the rest of the family one day about it and he was being genuine! What a pr*ck!

He's obsessed with time and ALWAYS has to be on time and I annoy him as I'm the opposite due to my brain damage (which he has never really understood either, the idiot), hence why I need to actually think about time.

Even having a clock running fast is unthinkable to him.

So no, I don't know why I posted here, it is a trivial thing that irritates me because of him.
He'll have had all his clocks changed all day, 'just in case'.

... And then don't even get me started on his Calendars, FFS!

Sorry to hear it.

Hope you've put some distance between you both and can build your life on your terms.

Think of all the positive things you can do, from riding your bike upwards.

I bought a radiator valve/bleed key yesterday from Screwfix. My radiators have been hot in places, yet cool in others for a week or so. I tried a knife and a screwdriver to unscrew the valves, but they didn't work so I decided to buy a key. It's a lot smaller than they look online, so quite fiddly to handle, but it did the job and now my radiators are working fully again!

My car has done a mere 3,197 miles in exactly a year.

If I'd only done that amount on my bike in a year, I'd have been embarrassed!

Finding something unimportant that I've lost. It's way better than Christmas.

Aye I finally found by steel toe cap boots the other day there. I've been looking for those for Ages!

Over the last couple of days I’ve received a few likes for a cryptic comedy post I wrote almost 18 months ago, which I have no recollection of ever writing.
But even I smiled when I read it again as it took me a while to realise what the joke was about.
It’s nice when you get these little reminders.

When a driver shows kindness, know the feeling when you are in your car at a junction waiting for a gap and another driver lets you out, or even when on a bike and a driver passes leaving a good distance and any other cars then also give lots of room.
