You mean the extra 'cleaning wipe' as it says in the handbook to mine . So what are the other wipes supposed to be then?
My first car was an Austin Metro which had a separate button for the washer, a brilliant idea as it didn't automatically activate the wipers when the washer jets were frozen, thus avoiding smearing the screen with crud. Nowadays it's like bl##dy washer squirt roulette!
I had a mk3 Golf that had heated washer jets and I'm pretty sure they always worked well enough though.

Generally the heat from the engine is enough to keep the washer jets working unless you've only driven a short distance.

Theoretically, but it never seems to, even on a decent twenty odd minute commute mine can still be frozen after I've got to work, although I'm sure mine are in the plastic scuttle away from the engine heat rather than in the bonnet.
I always carry a plastic bottle of water which can be used when stopped if necessary.

The extra wipe is to wipe away dribbles of fluid that run down from the top of the windscreen after a few seconds. Apparently, as explained to us by the Nissan salesman when buying my wife's car. It does seem to work reasonably well at that.

Sound engineering, in fact.

I don't know... maybe it's age-related, but as of five years or so ago, tomatoes have almost no taste at all. To the point where it's not really worth slicing them up to put on stuff. On the other hand, canned tomato sauce tastes just like it always did, sharp and acidic.
Shocked you can say this. Have you lost flavours with Covid?

Our greenhouse cherry toms ( nice flavour, and sweetness to balance acidity) are streets ahead of most supermarket toms, but 'taste the difference' types aren't bad, and are our choice when ours aren't cropping.

Sun-dried toms in oil are a good option in salads.

and in some cases - such as frozen windows - you don't actually want several wipes
one to check the effect is all you want
but no - the car knows best

I have today discovered something even worse. Road Muck is everywhere and I have been using my washers a lot but noticed that the headlamps only washed ‘now and then’. It seems that they have no preset action or trigger…they wash according to some algorithm tied in to no of window washes, frequency , length etc and you get a headlamp wash when it decides you are due one.

ARGHHH!!!

The vaccine is a mystery to you, so you turned it down?

Vaccines have been a staggeringly successful tool to improve public health. I'd suggest doing some research and making informed choices from now on.

Weird - I have never had an injection where the person giving it has not said what it is
and been willing to explain if I was unsure

so any injection that is a mystery sounds like someone not listening - or listening and not trusing what was said

but if it WAS a mystery then I would certainly refuse it until it was explained!!
