Probably unexpected engine failure.
Engine failure on a GLIDER???!!!
Probably unexpected engine failure.
I knew I should have put a smiley.Engine failure on a slope soarer!
I hope the plod aren't throwing everything at this!! A nearby pensioner was burgled the other week. The plod took over a day to turn up and basically blamed the old bloke for not locking his back door, saying finding the culprits might prove difficult. Just because a chavvy moneybags footballer gets robbed of some of his bling doesn't mean he should get a far better police response than the likes of that old bloke. The old bloke near here wasn't insured and now folk are having a whip round to replace items stolen from his home.
EXCLUSIVEJack Grealish cops probe if burglary gang behind £1m Boxing Day raid 'were given inside information' about footballer's whereabouts before staging terrifying home invasion

With a 17 foot wingspan, it must dismantle. You simply couldn't transport it on UK roads in one piece, even with the wings longtitudionally, the fuselage would be loo long.
Inside information? What like the time his team was playing and his name on the team sheet? Wasn't he in a match at the time? Put it this way, one of their costliest players is fit and they've got a match that's been scheduled for ages. Likelihood he's not playing?
I starting to think grealish has the keystone cops and your pensioner has the better service from the police, an actual copper with brain cells! Still nothing will happen. Perhaps they'll catch someone red handed months down the line and they'll tag on your pensioners crime to that person to help the statistics without really affecting the thief much without increased sentence.
Am too cynic at times.

'A police search was carried out, supported by dogs and a helicopter, but officers did not find any suspects.'
Not bad eh! Helicopters and dogs looking for the suspects. A serious misuse of public finding I'd say! The plod nowadays decide what to investigate. I thought they were under instructions from lawmakers, not their probably Man City supporting Chief Inspector!
As much as it annoys you, a £1million theft will attract lots of police involvement and press scrutiny.
Especially when his family were at the property, So they know the suspects would be close by.
Footballers have been targeted like this before, often by violent organised gangs. So i suspect the police want to stop this early.

You thought wrong, and that is as it should be.
The legislature and the judiciary (including the police) are separated in this country. The lawmakers have no authority to give instructions to the police, and nor should they. They can, of course, make laws defining police duties and responsibilities, but they are not going to do so at that level of detail.
I have no idea why you believe it to be a misuse of public funds to investigate strongly when there has been a burglary involving £1 million of stolen goods.
The fact it was from a footballer is totally irrelevant, although that is of course, the reason it is such a big story in the newspapers - maybe they are what you should be taking out your ire on.
People (inevitably drivers) who dump their trolley in the bike parking because they can't be bothered to walk the three metres to the trolley park.
Then the next person comes along and 'parks' their trolley by pushing it into the first...
And so on until most of the bike parking is blocked.
