Or you could build this and actually fly it for less then half the cost of that magazine version

Grief. That's huge, closed book to me.
I recognise all the words, but do not understand them in this order

I hope the plod aren't throwing everything at this!! A nearby pensioner was burgled the other week. The plod took over a day to turn up and basically blamed the old bloke for not locking his back door, saying finding the culprits might prove difficult. Just because a chavvy moneybags footballer gets robbed of some of his bling doesn't mean he should get a far better police response than the likes of that old bloke. The old bloke near here wasn't insured and now folk are having a whip round to replace items stolen from his home.

And what happens if something goes wrong and it falls from the sky?!!!
You dive behind something solid and wait for it to crash.

Was up on the moors when our attention was brought to a glider soaring. It was headed in our direction at little more than head height, losing height as got closer. Out off control.

Fireworks! Dog walk cut short due to worried dog. We were planning a walk up local, village hill for midnight but that's out now.

If fireworks were bought for midnight new years, why have they been going off since it got dark?

They should ban the sale to anyone unless they're licensed operators. Plus all firework events should be licensed by the local authorities like public events. That's just my opinion as a dog owner.

Having completed the back up of this years photos, music, etc to two external drives (one kept at work 'just in case') and then realised that there's still the December bank statemets to download once they're online next week to be copied over.

You'd be gutted after building it
That’s a serious piece of kit.
Where would you store it and how do you transport it?
I don't know, It may dismantle, or perhaps it travels by trailer, I have seen such things been flown on the common land just outside Beverley, and a model Vulcan bomber too. I believe you have to have some kind of remote control aircraft pilots licence to fly them though

With a 17 foot wingspan, it must dismantle. You simply couldn't transport it on UK roads in one piece, even with the wings longtitudionally, the fuselage would be loo long.
