Coincidentally I swapped to my m520 pedals this pm, and I was suprised how loose the T3 pedals were; hardly any force needed. (sorry Alex11). I noticed the thread had grease on, but I put some copper grease on the m520 threads before putting them on. I did use a the 15mm pedal spanner from my existing tool kit though..(third blue in from the right), but tbh i'm pretty sure an adjustable would have done the trick.

Hi,

Am looking to buy my first road bike and the Triban 3 seems like the best option but do you think it is worth waiting for the new model due out this month or buy one of the current ones? (even though stock is lacking)

I see the new model will be £20 cheaper but not sure if it will be as good. Any advice?

buy the current one.

The new one doesnt have the carbon fork or shimano shifters. I'd happily spend the extra £20
