Hubs
Front hub was somewhat lacking in lube when i checked it
Brakes
They dont, much !! taken satnavs advice and ordered swistop greens from wiggle
Pedals
Ditched standard ones, couldnt do with the silly straps = SPD's now, great booster
Gears
Have had a fair bit of tweaking to do as cables stretched and indexing slipped a bit, but happy with the ratios, tho perhaps a slightly taller top would be nice
Seat
Not had any discomfort, so not changing it
Mudguards
Put cruds on - easy fit but very tight clearances

Would it help ('newcomers') if people post some summary facts about their T3 history..? Anyway mine:

T3 bought Jan 2013.

More major maintenance/DIY:
Lithium grease front and rear wheel hub bearings & adjust.

Kit change/upgrade:
Brake blocks: Clarks 55mm multi-compound. £8.99 for 2 brake blocks and two spare inserts. Seem great. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=55815
Pedals: Shimano SPD m520. Excellent.

Upgrade to follow at some point:
Wheelset - probably Mavic Aksium. When the need arises.

Bought my T3 end Jan 13

So far changed pedals spd 520's

Cleaned, regreased and rebuilt hubs (if you haven't checked yours do it soon).

Changed saddle to a Charge spoon saddle

White bar tape

Clarks brakes

Crud catcher road race2 mud guards.

Wheels and tyres and probably SRAM cassette to follow.

Can't go wrong with m520 spd's to dip a toe in the water, Larry. You can pick them up for less than £20 including cleats. Easy to use, you can clip in either side.
