No. I drive a Merc (old!), and I know where the indicators are and how to use them!

Careful, you'll have your licence revoked for breaking the code.

I was excommunicated for using indicators and giving way in my Beemer

You were lucky - look what happened to this chap

Why don't you fluff off you fluffin fluff-mangle.
Lots of people have left because of you.
No one likes you. You are loud and common with your stupid hair colours and your little gang.
Leave me alone or you'll know about it.

I would like to say you don't need as much as you think you do. (This philosophy was true but last Thursday's events may change that)

In all seriousness we have a great life on a lot less coming in than when we worked.

Also - well before you think you may be able to retire check the details
REALLY check them
find out how much you have and how much you would get at 60 and every year down to 55

Also check out wind down criteria - it can mean that you can drop down hours or salary early but it won;t affect you pension

In my case I was damn lucky and rang up when I was 57 only to find that due to weird conditions and the way I had changed jobs a bit - if I retired within a few months of that phone call then I would immediately get more money than I would have got if I had worked until I was 60 - or more!!!

it was all due to weird wind-down stuff that required a lot of working out.

Clearly - you need to check the details of your specific scheme or schemes as every one is dofferent

but good luck anyway

All this about wind down criteria is only relevant for final salary pensions. Most people who have changed jobs in the last 20 years will not have a final salary pension with their current employer, though they may still have one from a previous employer (I had one from BT, which I am now claiming, as that one kicks in at 60).

... I wait in the far side, by the time my case comes around (which is usually last) I don't have to struggle around other people. ...

Reading all the reference about luggage claim and 'The Far Side', immediately had me in the 'Gary Larson' frame of mind.
So a quick look brought me to:
