I now know that I was told completely the opposite of what P was told. How did the situation change so radically in the space of one hour? That's easy to answer, isn't it? You deliberately gave X misleading information for them to pass on to me. Why should I take any notice of anything you ever say ever again? I expect to receive a full and genuine apology tomorrow.

ANNyway, so, I hear there are to be 'nationwide celebrations' Led by the government no less in 2014 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.

Now, is it just me, or does the notion of actually celebrating the start of a conflict which took the lives of some 750,000 allied soldiers, not to mention how many Germans etc just a little bit tasteless, especially when it is being led by Politicians, the very people who still send people to war and who's predecessors helped cause the 1914-18 war, and then failed to make it 'the war to end all wars' in the first place??

Sorry, but am I the only one who can see it for the utter despicable piece of s**t charade that it is?

MBD, I will make every effort to be out of the country for those "celebrations". Where shall we go?

Switzerland or Norway? any other "neutral" countries you can think of?

Hmmm, I'll have to think about it, where is best for cycling?

What makes it worse though it that the Royal British Legion, Help For Heroes, the BBC etc etc will have whipped everyone up into such a frenzy over it, so we'll hear about it for weeks on end beforehand (more so than usual I mean) and woe betide anyone who questions it all, hell, they might even make every single Allied and British soldier past and present into Saints whilst they are at it, such is the need by many to get off on the 'Brave Soldier' slant, so we might have to escape for more than a week or two Speicher.

As for everyone else, enjoy your 'celebrations' of death, suffering and total inadequacies of the establishment of the time sheeple!!
