Sorry I missed the end of year review, but it's totally pointless as it makes bu**er all difference to my pay thanks to government policy and the percentage of upper, middle and lower marks has already been dictated from HQ so I decided to go out and do some real work instead.

If you were any use as a manager you would have been aware of what I'd done and my results this year so I shouldn't need to provide you with examples and evidence. Did you not notice that most of the negative comments at the team meeting this week were aimed at you?

They're building more and more houses and the roads are getting more and more congested and your solution is to build more roads? If we carry on like this everywhere will be roads. They're already threatening our cycle paths and country walks and you're ok with that? At least I can suggest alternative solutions. All you can do is put them down. You won't fight for better public transport. You won't walk or cycle when it makes sense. Like so many people you're apathetic and lazy.
