T'internets down. Wanted to waych something on iPlayer and got a network error. A bit of switching stuff off and back on, checking cables and it's still not working. Hopefully it will reconcile itself overnight. šŸ¤ž

At times like this you realise how much we now depend on that little cable.

Yes indeed. I have mobile internet and can see the reports from others in the area who are also affected.

Iā€™m binge watching This City is Ours. Just one episode to go. Quite enjoyed it but struggling a bit with the thick Liverpool accents.

I have only watched the 1st episode which I recorded but there was a big problem with it 'buffering'. I don't know if the problem was with Virgin or my TV.
Needless to say I don't have a problem with the Liverpool accent.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
A dull grey start to the day here with rain forecast for later on.
The exercises are going quite well. A week on from my operation the muscles are regaining some of the movement and I can now lift the leg up from horizontal un aided, do the knee bends nearly to 90ā° and short squats, so things are progressing. It's another week until the staples come out and the first appointment with the physiotherapy department came through yesterday for the 11th of April.
So today is another day of resting up and keeping up the exercises.
I'm just waiting for Nurse MrsP to bring me my first mug of tea :cuppa: and I really fancy scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast later on.:hungry:.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Morning all
Another week here in paradiseā€¦.last day with daughter & bf before we rise at 04:45 to drive them to their BensBus at Bourg - the funicular isnā€™t open early enough šŸ˜±
Mixed day yesterday: super slushy snow made our foolish mission across to La Plagne painful, but rewarded by some stunning views & good runs at the top ā›·ļø
ā€¦which meant happy hour beers were earned, & lots of card games enjoyed (mostly what they politely call ā€œShith-eedā€ & a touch of Kaboyah) šŸ˜Ž
Good times!

Good morning all.
A damp start but not raining at the moment.
Quite cool at 8Ā°.
Psyching myself up to strip the bed and get the washer going.

Good Morning. I'm not sure what to make of today. At 7.00am the rain was pouring down and I started to change my plans, now we have brilliant sunshine and I'll revert to plan A.

Mrs P has immunotherapy at 9.30 so I must crack on rather than blather about here. I have some allotment stuff to do, timber to buy and I need to investigate gates as the battle to keep the deer out of all the allotments and gardens continues. I'm doing this with a good friend and neighbour. We're getting precious few offers of help and no financial contributions at all! It's quiz night this evening so the old brain cells need to limber up. Speaking of limbering up I need to disappear to do my stretching and exercise routines.............the clock has just struck 8.00am and we have to go out at 9.10!

T'internet is back upšŸ‘ In other news the random swapping of items into different kitchen drawers / cupboards continues. One small victory is that I demonstrated that the plates and bowls would indeed fit into what is in effect the same location as the original kitchen. I did it diplomatically of course, " What do you think if we tried this? " šŸ˜‰
Rain overnight and still drizzling, sparky coming to finally finish the last of the electrics ( labelling the consumer unit RCBO's ) and a neat single socket outlet complete with both USB A and C šŸ‘
Have a peaceful day folks
