I pricked out three different types of tomatoes, Ailsa Craig, Money Maker and Alicante. Also a dozen pepper seedlings have been potted up.
They are all in the greenhouse, fortunately there is no frost forecast in the near future.
These sound like the varieties dad used to grow as well. Can’t beat fresh tomatoes straight off the vine. I used to eat loads when I was over visiting.
This afternoon it's u3a Film Club which I run. Red Joan is this month's offering. Then we are out to dinner tonight.
Just arrived in Gateshead with my youngest, we are up here for the Premier League Darts this evening, stopping in Leeds on the way home tomorrow to have another look at the university as he needs to make a decision between York and Leeds and is struggling to make his mind up.
not sure what the attraction in Gateshead
Bruce hurt my arm the other day. I was holding his lead, arm bent, while I chatted to someonene and he tried to bolt after a squirrel, yanking my arm straight at supersonic speed.
Now it hurts to bend or straighten the arm, and the inside of the elbow hurts like f*****. Struggled even practicing the bass thing morning.
Any ideas whatnhe may have damaged?
Just up the road from me
Other than the Darts, not sure what the attraction in Gateshead would be, the Sage building, perhaps, and walk across the Millennium Bridge to the Newcastle Quayside, plenty of eating and drinking opportunities.
Enjoy!
I’m binge watching This City is Ours. Just one episode to go. Quite enjoyed it but struggling a bit with the thick Liverpool accents.
