Didn't MrWD attempt a repair/bodge a few weeks back?

Well he looked at the pipes, and the filter at the front. The door wasn't leaking. But this morning the floor is more than a little damp, so I will be looking for a new machine.

@Mo1959 I think you have storage heaters Mo, I have just read this and wondered if this is the tariff that you are on and how the rates compare.

Sounds interesting but they don’t quote pence per k/w. I’m quite liking the Economy 10 as it’s keeping the house warmer I think. The heaters are on 4.30 - 7.30am, 1.30 - 4.30pm and 8.30 - 12.30pm. I might try and find out the tariff cost and see if it’s any cheaper.

Electric heating is bleeding expensive though but I can’t be bothered with the upheaval and cost of bringing gas into the house and fitting pipes and radiators, etc.

It will be just over £300 this month alone

Morning all, I got back from Florida Saturday morning and spent the weekend in Liverpool with a new friend, a great time was had in both places, to be honest though Liverpool is the best.

Could be a nackered pump? It's worth a look as pumps are about a tenner. YouTube is your friend.

I can proudly say I have replaced two washing machine pumps. Now you all know my mechanical abilities 🤣🤣 If Paul can do it I'm 100% confident Mr WD could.

Still a few degrees below freezing here. It might just about reach 0 before the sun goes and it drops again. Another really cold night to come.

I have returned. Grandson dropped In as the school is still shut so no teaching today and found the kitchen full of water again. He mopped it all up for me. I bought him some donuts as a thank you.

Mr WD might take the washing machine Dow to the garage to try to see whats wrong with it.

And surprise surprise. My phone isn't working properly either. The microphone on it is knackered now.
