I am officially a hero

I have fixed the clock in the dining room

OK - maybe it was partially my fault it was broken as I knocked it off the wall a while ago but that is irrelevant

anyway - I put it back together and it seemed OK but it stopped
changed the battery and that didn;t help

so today I decided to look at it a bit closer and maybe see if I could order a replacement clocky bit

took the battery out and checked it - it was fine
put it back in and noticed that the hands were a bit bent and might be interfering with each other
also - looking at the battery it did seem different - almost as if it might be the other way round from before??

anyway - it is working now - so my wife thanked me
she is good at sarcasm

You can always tell if the battery is the wrong way round.
It goes toc tick, toc tick.

Managed a very slow 5k shuffle. Actually enjoyed it once I got going.

Bit early for breakfast so I’ll just have a mug of decaf just now.

Well done Mo.
Is your head torch good quality. Mine would not be good enough for what you do.
I used it for a bit of caving (which I did not enjoy) and when we had to work in confined spaces so I only needed a limited range.

Barnet,
Good morning all. The wid has abated, but it's still raining, and due to be cloudy and dull all day.
The first of the bin lorries are making their way down the road, I can hear it coming.
All the usual things to do today, starting with the dog walk.

Good day. Quite a good sleep last night. The sky is clear, no breeze and about 5⁰. Excellent. Only two things on the agenda for today, cycling and the weekly session with my PT.

I need to leave at 8.50, so had better crack on. Is it just me or does everyone need an hour to have breakfast and get their kit on?

I'll be playing with the borrowed Garmin Varia on this ride. The only issue I can see is being a short arse I don't have a lot of exposed seat post. I've repositioned my saddle tool pouch as high as possible. I "think" the Varia is high enough. I will report back. I'm hopeful. 🤞

More boobs please Mo, I like that route 😁

Sorry it was a boring sort of out and back type of route today.
