We ended up with pork abd stuffing sandwiches today.

Our daughter in law has just given us a whole freezer bag full of food she won't eat: meat, veg, ice cream, Our fridge freezer is busting now and some of it we will have tonight to clear some space. She also gave me a hat with a built in light for when I walk Molly in the dark.
She is waiting for an operation on her shoulder which will stop her for driving for a few weeks so she said she will add me to her insurance so I can drive her car and save mileage on mine.
She really is one in a million , with a heart of gold.

I once tried Linda McCartney Sausages Vegan I think. Ye gods they were horrible

Many years ago my ex wanted to eat less meat and we tried different veggie stuff
Linda Mc stuff seemed quite OK at the time - including the sausages
tried them recently and they were awful

dunno whether they have changed or my tastes have changed (taste in women certainly has!!!)

I don't think it you. My ex wasnt a veggie but simply didn't eat much meat and we had a lot of Linda McCartney stuff and it wasn't that bad. We tried some recently and it was so foul it went in the bin.

My neighbour, who's wife died a few weeks ago, stocked up on L Mc sausages at his wifes request.
After she died he asked me and then asked others if we wanted them foc.
They ended up in the bin.

Sounds very nice but we very rarely adhere to the tradition of a Sunday lunch, it’s just so much work.
