Right - so today is the day

It is the day of "The Hen Party"
clearly I'm not going - but I am the taxi

SWMBO has said from the start that she doesn;t want to arrive at a strange place alone and wants to go with someone
but everyone thinks she is independant and can look after herself
they always have - work and home have always assumed she is "hard" and nothing phazes her
even people like her sister and her Mum (when she was alive) always thought
"Oh it's OK she can cope and will look after herself"

she isn't

at least I can drive again now so I can take her to the door and help her take stuff in.
They also forget then with her list of health problem she can;t just "do things" - like she will have to take her CPAP machine for tonight (it is an overnight thing) and find a power socket near the bed
(Drago - stop thinking - you will give Dave ideas)

anyway - that's tonight so I will be alone in the house tonight
probably for the first time since she moved in about 10 years ago!!!

at some time I will have to find out about the Stag do that I am apparently going to

these wedding things are to damn complicated - we just booked the registry office and a pub and told everyone when and where

Like many things that were so simple years ago when hen & stag do's were just drinks at a pub with your mates; they have become much more bloated affairs. All in the cause of parting participants from their money.

I had to read that 3 times as the 1st 2 times I read that she will take her CRAP machine with her. I was thinking 'what the hell is a CRAP machine.
The 3rd time I got it right ^_^^_^

Yep.
On my stag do I got bladderd.
For the reception the FiL (who I loved) insisted on a sit down waiter service do. I had no money. He had no money. But he insisted on it for his daughter.
I dread to think how long it took him to pay that debt off.
