Good morning all.
The rain that was forecast is now not forecast. It's going to be another sunny day with temperatures up to 15⁰c today.
There is a meeting of the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell, but before that I've got to go and order some flowers as it's MrsP's birthday tomorrow, 65, but I know you should not reveal a ladies age, so I'll keep quiet.

Good morning, I carried all the bags of cardboard packaging from the new kitchen units down to the shed last night in case it rained as forecast. That seems to have appeased the rain spirits as it was dry overnight. All units are now in but the worktops are 2nd fix electrical work still to go. I amused myself by trying to slam the kitchen drawers ( hydraulic dampers ) and seeing how much I needed to close the doors before the self closing mechanism took over 😁. As you can see, I am easily distracted.
Spoke with the consultant yesterday afternoon, all is stable👍
Interestingly I was notified of recruitment to a clinical trial to investigate the treatment of chronic anaemia in people with bone marrow disorder using Vitamin B5.
Interesting because Vitamin B5 is ubiquitous, it's almost impossible to be deficient as it's in so many foods. Online discussion next Tuesday, I will participate with interest.
Meanwhile good to see all the children heading to school yesterday dressed up for world book day. Daughter sent a photo of granddaughter dressed up as Hermione from the Harry Potter novels😎

The B vitamins are interesting. I take a high dose B2 every day as it’s recommended for migraine sufferers along with magnesium and coq10. I think it definitely helps.

Just remembered something from my ride today

I was riding around Runcorn around school kicking out time
and apparently it is "World Book Day" where the kids can go into school wearing stuff relating to a something that may or may not have been in a book

Anyway - lots of "costumes" on kids - and several just in pyjamas

but I also went along a path in some woods that I have not been through before and I came across a lady dressed in brown and dark greens

with a little girl in a wonderful Alice (or Wonderland and Looking Glass fame) costume
blond hair and very white skin and a bright blue dress with white lace and stuff

so as the walked away all I saw as her mother walked along the side of teh path near the trees and hence was pretty invisible
was Alice skipping happily through the woods waving her arms happily

very weird

You been picking and eating those mushrooms again? 😂

My consultant was very switched on, there's a lot more research into the use of existing drugs in combination with others to treat conditions that they weren't originally designed for. He also spoke very favourably about vitamin D3/K2 combination ( it's something that I already take )

Good day. @gavroche I'm sorry to hear your sad news. Take care of yourself.

Sorry AWOL yesterday. I got distracted by stuff all day. Wet and miserable. We've abandoned ride plans and are now meeting at the Calico Lounge. I can't find any reference to this on the web........are my buddies trying to tell me something???

At some point I need to sweep, dust and the kitchen floor needs mopping. Aldi dash as well. Also need to find time to phone round local charities, etc offering computer support to oldies.

The knee is as stiff as a board this morning. I have an hour of serious stretching to do, get showered and go in search of this cafe.
