Aldi have the best self-scanners of all the supermarkets. They rarely miss a beat. The extra long barcodes are good and they DON'T do bag checks.

Specially designed to speed up scanning by till operators, now assisting self check out users.

I like Aldi self serve checkouts. They work well and have a decent area to put your items once you have scanned them. And they have a member of staff lurking in case you need help IE you need alcohol to be authorised.

Do they ask you for proof of age, WD?

In all the years I have been driving I have never had to replace the windscreen washer pump
I have now and I'm £72 lighter, £22 for the pump and the rest was on labour

It's a bummer the first time that happens. Then as the years go by till at 70 you find yourself glaring at youngsters who aren't offering you their seat.

We gathered tonight to watch Road Diary, the documentary about the Springsteen 2024/25 tour. It's worth a couple of hours of anyone's time as it truly captures the essence of Springsteen, his relationship with his fans and perhaps answers the question for those who look on and ask why?

I've said it before, all you ever see at a Springsteen concert is smiles and tears........of joy.

Good morning. Perfectly calm without a breath of wind and the sky looks clear. A ride is planned. There's a small amount of tidying up to do before the new summer house/shed arrives.

The sub-woofer on our sound bar isn't working. I must set up the new one we got "free" with the new telly.
