The dentist appointment went well, no work needed, and then upstairs to the hygienist to scrape and polish my gnashers.All ok for another 6 to 12 months.

I can't sleep in a chair even on long haul flights

During my working life (sorry about the language), I did a lot of travelling on long haul flights. I became quite good on sleeping on such flights. My most impressive achievement was sleeping all the way from Dubai to London Heathrow. It was a Qantas flight, and, I was in Club Class.

I came back from Perth, WA to Heathrow on the non stop Quantas flight and managed 8 hours sleep in economy. I would of got more, but my wife is a fidget and woke me up a couple of times.

No, I can't say that has ever occurred to me. It's a damn good barbershop, 5 chairs, always full and very rare to wander in and notcwait.

We've been to see the Bob Dylan film, "A Complete Uknown." Truly excellent and well worth seeing. I really felt as though I was watching the young, up and coming Dylan. Apparently even Bob himself thinks it's good.

Highly recommended.

Good morning folks, early isn't it! Wide awake so came downstairs and currently sitting on the sofa. The energy display on the sideboard tells me the house is using 114watts in the background, must be all the stuff like router, TV on standby etc. 2 degrees at the moment rising to a blistering 9 degrees later.

Can I ask what they charge.
My son had a haircut, shave plus nasal/ear hairs removed......£18.00.
I checked in a local one and he wants £30.00 which seems a lot to me.

Morning. Long lie for me. It’s not that pleasant out anyway. Barely above freezing and there’s been a shower so I’m not sure if it might be slippy. Might just wait till later.
