Morning all.
Another dark one, I woke assuming it must be 4ish only to find it was 8.

Another one for the dentist today, it's the 2nd fitting for my palate. I confess to not understanding why I need 4 appointments and this dentist has no communication skills.
Have a good day all.

Bruce walked. No ball today as the ball throwy stick thing brok yesterday, think the UV got to it. Mrs D going to pick a new one up at lunchtime so normal service can be resumed tomorrow.

Thanks Mo, I logged in to Fulgaz and see that my annual membership was due to autorenew in February. Now cancelled👍

There’s a Facebook group and they have assured users that they can continue to use it for the time being, but given the Fulgaz staff have all been sacked, I don’t know how long for. There certainly wouldn't be any support I presume. Shame, as out of Zwift, Rouvy and Fulgaz I had pretty much decided I preferred Fulgaz and was going to make it my only sub.

Is there any other way to throw a ball - I'm sure I remember seeing people doing it before ball-throwy-stick-thiungs were commonplace????

(Note - when I had a dog she didn;t chase balls - she might go and look at it to check if it was a squirrel/rabbit etc but then just looked disgusted and wandered off - so I never had the device!!!)

They allow you to lob the ball the same distance for less effort, or further for the same effort.

Both involve using an arm though.

DON'T PANIC

I'm back

we have internet and telly

damage done by the grabby thing when it hit the cable has been fixed

apparently that wasn;t the only problem - the bloke in charge of the landscapers has lost his phone and things it probably dropped out of his pocked while the soil and rubble was being moved and the grabby thing grabbed it with everything else

so he has lost all his photo and contacts - including personal and all his business contacts
and all his apps and bank stuff - including all the bak cards that were in the same wallet thing

he was in a right mess yesterday - went home and apparently his wife had to calm him down and write him a list of things he needed to do

He is a lot better this morning!!!

anyway

I'm back online!!

As far as I am aware that is also true here - as long as it is a "proper" garage

There was some sort of court case a while ago that help up the concept that the main dealers couldn;t insist that they service the car forever
But due to copyright issues, they don't have to make the diagnostic coding available outside of their own dealers.
And as cars get ever more complex, this is going to make it harder to service them away from the main dealers. Especially electric vehicles.
