Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I'm watching Squid games on Netflix. It's quite addictive.

:hello: I have charged up both of my bike batterys and now doing a discharge down to half way, it takes a long time.
Mushroom omelette and chips for lunch

How??
The only reliable way I have found to discharge mine has been a 5-10 mile ride
Especially the Bosch - they put fiddly electronics in them so "fiddleing" is a bad idea
the Carrera could possible be discharged by connecting a "thingy" across the 2 pins but I have never tried it!

Hi I made up three 12v light bulbs = 36 volts and it works like a dream, but it taks forever to discharge, but it is very safe.
I looked on the net and found out if one uses a large resistor it will also work, but a lot quicker, but it is a "dead short" so haven't tryed it as yet as I don't want a fire and ruin £400 of battery, but it should be OK.
Asle many videos on youtube.

Got a relatively early night in last night, snuggling under-duvet around 1pm. Fell asleep instantly.

Only to be woken around 3.30pm by a (putting it delicately) Mrs SD in a loving mood.

My Z's thus disturbed lead to a poor night's sleep. I feel knackered.

Today, I have been on the treadmill for a while. Was going for a walk but the weather is damp, claggy and, frankly, not fit for venturing out in.

Football at 3pm - tricky away fixture at Crystal Palace.

Off to see Robbie in Better Man at the Flicks tonight, looking forward to that.

Should be home around 10.30pm when we will get some sounds on, dig out some vino and crack on with a party for two night.

The village is awash with Resolutionists!

Enjoy your day, everyone.

4 hours to snowmagedon!

Same here in Emerald Isle so I brought my 2 little ladies out for a 7 mile walk , looks like they won't be getting much outings if heavy snow comes. The little veteran Minxellator is stone blind now but still loves her walks. Met a neighbour , Noireen , who is 92 and told me " all my friends are dead years ago , they sat down on the couch in front of the television , and that was the end of them "

I quite like the thought of lots of gizmos, but they just mean more to go wrong with it

Yes, I must admit, with

mirrors which tell me if there is a vehicle in my blindspot,
beeps if I cross the lane markings, without a signal
sensors which tell me how close I am to an obstacle when manoeuvring (and, applies the brakes, if I get too close)
cruise control which automatically keeps the gap with the car infront
... and more...

the car is more intelligent than I am 😂
