Cooooooeee. Its getting lighter here. 0 deg, no frost. We have warnings of death and destruction due to the extremely low possibility that a snowflake will fall somewhere in Powys today. Will we survive I have to ask myself.

Good morning all.
Like most places, a cold and frosty start to the day here. -4⁰c overnight. It will probably rain later on.
I've got to go to the local shops for a few bits and pieces so I will get a short ride in. Other than that it's business as usual. Dog walking, domestics and listening to the football on the radio this afternoon.

Good morning folks, boarded the bus to head to Poole parkrun and a few stops later got a notification that the event is cancelled due to ice on some of the paths. Got off and walked home- really cold.
The organisers posted a photo of the fountain in the park which is partially frozen.

I risked a short walk. Just 2.5 miles on the pavements. Only had one slight slip on my own street where there must have been a frozen puddle under the snow. Other than that it was fine. I just don’t feel right if I don’t get some exercise and fresh air before brekkie.

The Glasgow one is, in my mind, definitely religion. I still remember the fuss when Rangers signed Mo Johnson - a Catholic, ex Celtic player. I don't know the original basis of Rovers - Burnley other than geography. It's possibly the most intense in football far outweighing the Liverpool and Manchester derbies.

In some places it's known as the El Lanclassico! 🤣🤣🤣 that's one for the footie fans.

My car has a nifty App, I can turn on the Climate Control and warm up the interior, defrost the windscreen and rear screen, before I even get out of bed. Such decadence 🙂

Good news everyone
I was looking in The Star (no - I don't know why either)
but I saw an AMAZING hack that I thought you would all like to know about


apparently - if your windscreen is all frosted up

then you can defrost it in SECONDS by turning the heat up and pressing the button that directs the air to the windscreen!!!

I KNOW - AMAZING

THIS WILL LITERALLY CHANGE MY LIFE

My car doesn't need an app, down here in the south we have this thing that comes up each morning, it's called the sun

I have charged up both of my bike batterys and now doing a discharge down to half way, it takes a long time.

I quite like the thought of lots of gizmos, but they just mean more to go wrong with it
