The 'push button' start of modern cars reminds me of the early Minis; push button start between the two front seats - !
Now that WAS a novelty - ! ^_^

The Born just senses that you are sitting on the drivers seat, select D and off you go

Away to the hospital the morn for a CT scan, 'thorax, abdomen & pelvis with contrast'. Have been 'instructed' not to wear any metals that might interfere with said scan, so be interesting to see how they deal with the 40cm. long titanium pin in my right femur - !
Then Monday, a 'phone appointment with the Aneuryism Screening Nurse.
Tuesday, appt. with our Wills folk for an alteration in said wills.
Wednesday, funeral in Weeley of a dear friend of over fifty years.
Thursday a banter with my sister.
Friday, to GP surgery for Pheumonia & Shingles jabs.
Just as well I'm retired - !

I think electric cars - which I think are all automatic in effect - are changing that

I bought my first Auto in 1999, A Mercedes C240 Sport estate, I’ve been driving mainly autos since.

RIght - 1 grand kid in bed
one bathed and having some alone time before bed

eldest has just joined her Gran to watch "The Guernsey literary and potato peel pie society"
we always make her watch a film after her brothers have gone to bed
she always moans about them and then enjoys them and wants to watch them again a few months later!!

I'm off to have some pudding
