No it doesn’t, as long as it’s not too hot it’s fine. As I said earlier I’ve been using this method for over 30 years, my Fathers friend who was a police officer recommended it. No scraping, no de-icer, just a jug of warm water and you are on your way in less than a minute. No - it can crap the glass
Or simply put it in the garage and not have to defrost it at all.
He doesn't have a garage, so uses the pavement to park on.Or simply put it in the garage and not have to defrost it at all.
I’ve been using a watering can of warm water for years
Chilly but pleasant wander done. I left the house at 7.25 and had my head torch with me but managed without it this morning. I think the daylight is stretching a bit now
Might wander round to the supermarket later. Having to have my porridge without anything in it this morning as I have no blueberries or bananas left.
Good morning. Damp, dank but above freezing. Nothing special about today's weather. If the forecast is accurate today will be a sunny 2⁰ with heavy snow from 9.00pm for 24 hours. I'll be surprised if that does happen. We used to get a lot of snow but not much these days.
Only one thing in my mind today (not unusual really). Rovers v Burnley. The east Lancashire derby. This is a very intense affair. It can get silly. About 20 years ago NHS reorganisation moved the area hospital maternity services from Blackburn to Burnley. There are still Blackburn families who elect to use Preston hospital as they don't want their children born in Burnley.........I kid you not.
I enjoy the rivalry but not the supposed hatred of each other's club.
The Glasgow one is, in my mind, definitely religion. I still remember the fuss when Rangers signed Mo Johnson - a Catholic, ex Celtic player. I don't know the original basis of Rovers - Burnley other than geography. It's possibly the most intense in football far outweighing the Liverpool and Manchester derbies.Sounds a bit like Celtic and Rangers up here, although I think that’s more religion based.
