Bonjour. A bit of blue sky here so no rain but still windy.
Llandudno has had some damage: trees fallen down. Wooden huts on the pier have gone in the sea and part of the roof at Asda has blown off so the store is closed at the moment..
Mrs G is going to see Andre Rieu concert at the cinema this afternoon as it was cancelled yesterday.

Some minor damage hereabouts. The odd house with tiles missing, the occasional fence blown down. Fortunately my new house haw an interlocking dry ridge roof system able to withstand 100 mph winds.

The rain might be a ballache for those on nearby Billing Aquadrome though. I mean, the car an park ended up there in thes as it was known to be an unsuitable place to build houses as its a natural flood plain. And knowing that eejuts go and live on it.

The Aquadrome has always flooded, I remember it being underwater back in the 1970’s

Well - the wind has gone here

not much damage - unfortunately the sycamore tree has survived

I was worried (well - not worried - interested maybe) about next doors metal framed gazebo thingy they have over their garden table - and sometime hot tub thing
it was bending and twisting rather more than I think the designers intended
they really should have taken the roof fabric off

but it seems to have survived except for a roof panel than has come half off

otehr than that the only things around here that I know of is a lot of ]debris along the sides of the roads

I like the word 'pert' :okay: Morning folks, off for a spin in a while and its going to be chilly. A cold northerly....lovely, think i'll ride up to the wind farm which is a good work out and should warm me up [a bit]. Have finished watching seasons 1-8 of Dexter...not sure whether ive been entertained or traumatized.....bit of both

Just seen the article about Katy Marchant's crash

sounds bad - but only a broken arm which is repairable

read it first in a red top (can;t remember which) which I was just on following a l ink

it said she crashed approaching a left turn

on an indoor cycle track

hmmm - not sure this was written by an experienced cycling journalist

Richmond sausages. I don't know how they can even call them sausages. They are like pureed mush xx(

if you think they are bad you should try the vegan sausages in Premier Inn's
tried them as they are also the gluten free sausages

rather like ground up much inside a tube of unidentifiable something - even Richmond are better

much like own brand gravy granuals

Good morning from County Hall London ( Premier Inn department ).
Fingers crossed our rail journey back to Poole gets away on time, there were cancellations yesterday evening due to line obstruction with tree branches. An enjoyable stay and great to finally meet our new grandson.
That train in front of yours going to London, requiring BTP assistance because of trouble on board. The trouble was a fight amongst staff on the train.
