Morning all :hello:

Things are calming down now; we've just got high winds now - not gales.
Think we got away quite lightly here as my garden is pretty sheltered. Just got a panel in one greenhouse to replace and a few sheets of corrugated iron to round up and store securely.
Off to the Railway Inn at lunchtime for Sunday roast.

WoW and double WoW. I slept until 0800. Sorry Mo.
A quiet day ahead for me.
My daughter normally does a full roast and includes me so that's my main meal taken care of. Breckfast may be a bacon/bacon and egg barm.

Good morning. Lots of sleep last night. Boy, did I need it. Feeling very chipper.

We have a man coming to inspect the site of our new shed (sorry, summerhouse)* at 10.00. I'm meeting a friend at 3.30 TODAY for coffee. She has confirmed this. I must crack on now, exercises and brekkie.

* It's a shed with glass in. Dress it up any way you wish, it's still a friggin' shed. Pig, lipstick????

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Coooeee. I had a guest last night. My sons electricity was out all day and wasn't expected to be fixed until later on today so a grandson decided to stay the night. He had an assignment that had to be turned in today as an associate teacher so came to us as we were OK. The electric was back on at around midnight.Copious quantities of tea and toast this morning and off he went.

Stay safe peeps :hello:

I just did a wander around the town as I think the trail would be muddy and covered in debris after yesterday’s weather.

Bit like a booby to go with my willy.

Some minor damage hereabouts. The odd house with tiles missing, the occasional fence blown down. Fortunately my new house haw an interlocking dry ridge roof system able to withstand 100 mph winds.

The rain might be a ballache for those on nearby Billing Aquadrome though. I mean, the car an park ended up there in thes as it was known to be an unsuitable place to build houses as its a natural flood plain. And knowing that eejuts go and live on it.
