I've been here long enough now that I recognise the driveways the cars come from, and most live closer than I do and it only takes me 13 mminutes. Hell, you can see some of their houses from the school!

Not sure how to break the bad news but it has gone now. The sausages were pork and bramley apple, and the cheese complimented them nicely.

My Toad in the hole went down extremely well, with Mashed potatoes, cabbage, carrots with red onion and red wine gravy. Proper cold weather food.

Another stupid o'clock time to get up but the bathroom called and I was too awake to go back to bed.
Another cold one isn't it. I know other areas get it worse than here but ¬1° is still too cold for me.

Good morning. It will be a beautiful day. There is a decision to be made, to cycle or not to cycle, that is the question. The thermometer in my backyard reads 4⁰, it is obviously protected, puddles are frozen over but car windscreens while frozen aren't heavily so.

One buddy has cried off with a blocked nose, he often does at first sign of a cold.

I badly want a ride but is it simply too cold? I think I'll start my exercises and see what others say first.

MrsD has a hair appointment at 10 am. Will be going on from there for some shopping in Minehead, then back to Watchet for lunch in the Star.
Looks like a far better day, weather wise, than yesterday.
