I didn't do Fuschias this year..
The first frost usually sorts out the garden, doesn't it!

I have to say I am not much of a gardener. That’s why a love Fuschias , they take very little looking after and flower from late spring until the the first hard frost. 😀
Good morning. A hard frost overnight but we have a clear blue sky and the pavements are frost free. Carpet fitters are back to finish off. Mrs Tkk is on Faceache and put a desk we no longer need on the local free group. Just a few time wasters and no takers. Our local council offers a bulky waste collection service for beds, sofas etc. It is £29 for the first item and £9 for additional items so we may have to use that option.
I use ~ Freegle~ occasionally rather than FaceAche.. Some time wasters but generally better than the Fb

My fuchsias have turned to tea leaves over night.
The hardy ones will be cut back, they'll grow back next spring, but the annual ones are probably doomed. I'll cut them back and put them in the greenhouse, sometimes they grow again.
The Dahlias and begonias have also finally succumbed.

I have decided to invest in fleece lined bloomers. I hear they are all the rage now especially in the cold weather. OK so I might look like the Michelin man, but who cares if I'm warm from above my waist down to my knees. Persobally I think I might look quite fetching

The cold is getting to you, isn't it.
I have resorted to wearing the pair you left here. I have been using them as a bedspread but wore them overnight.

Yes, I think my Begonias, which have been giving a super show for most of the summer, have succumbed to the cold and snow.

I carried on for a walk after my hair cut as I didn’t walk first thing as usual. It’s lovely if you can get out of the breeze and in the sun. I even sat on a sheltered bench for 15 minutes.
