Bringing forward my day off from Thursday to today due to the weather. I'll cut the grass tomorrow if the forecast holds true...which is 50:50 if recent form is anything to go by.

Shall hop on the steam train to Minehead this morning for lunch in Wetherspoons and to wave our best mates off for their two week holiday in Italy.

If I had invested the £2 at 4%, it would be worth around £20 now. Ernie is having me over. They were an eleventh birthday present from my late sister.

I don't have anywhere near the full amount of PB's, but I've earned quite a bit compared to interest rates that banks are offering. And I don't want my money tied up for X amount of time.

I have ended up with too much in one of my banks, I will buy some in the next day or so. Mind you I am seldom lucky with lotteries etc.

Good luck and you have nothing to lose really. I have anything I win re invested into more binds instead of having it put back into my bank account. That way I have more bonds and more chances to win.

I went mad 25ish years ago and bought £100 of bonds.
I got £20ish back after a few months and that was it, nothing,since.

What a gorgeous morning here. I drove through to Comrie and had a pleasant 4 mile walk there along a little quiet back road then along a track that cuts through an estate. Never met anyone apart from a lad cycling to his work.

A bit fragile this morning, self inflicted.
Daughter is away. Me and SiL** got stuck into the new loaf together with cheese and several bottles of wine.
**he is more of a friend than my daughters husband (if that makes sense) and we can talk openly about Almost anything.
Today I will do errfhh nothing apart from dishes and glasses that need washing.
